Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Post-absorptive state is a condition that has low blood glucose concentration. This condition is regulated by hormones that increase the blood concentration level. Food is absorbed by the intestine after digestion and enters into the blood. It maintains the blood glucose concentration level. The stored form of glucose is glycogen that is being breakdown into glucose molecules to maintain the normal blood glucose concentration.
