To explain: How the flow of genetic information occurred from RNA to DNA during transformation of ‘RNA world’ to ‘DNA world’.
Concept introduction:
RNA is the self-replicating molecule identified earlier than the DNA. It also functions as enzyme catalysts called the ribozymes. Due to this ability of RNA molecules, the life on Earth proceeds with self-replicating ribozymes referred as RNA world. RNA molecules are stored in the vesicles in protocells. RNA molecules act as a template for DNA synthesis. The double stranded DNA is more stable molecule which replicates more accurately and blossoms the new life of organism. The central dogma of life explains the transformation of RNA to DNA, and vice-versa.
