Dengue is a viral borne infection spread by the infected mosquito vectors. It causes severe pain in the joints and muscles, therefore, it is also known as break bone fever. It is causedby the RNA (ribonucleic acid) dengue virus, which has four serotypes DENV1, DENV2, DENV3, DENV4, and a new DENV5. These all serotype are transmitted by the bite of Aedes mosquito.
