Hormones are designated as the chemo-messengers of the human body. They regulate various process by either stimulating or inhibiting and sometimes both. Pituitary gland is referred to as the master gland of the human body as the secretions of the pituitary regulate the secretions of other glands of the human body. However, the secretion of the pituitary gland is regulated by the hormones of the hypothalamus.
