Nature of velocity that inertial reference frames moves with.

Answer to Problem 1RQ
Inertial reference frame moves with constant velocity.
Explanation of Solution
In inertial frames of reference, a particle does not possess acceleration unless external force is applied. A particle that is at rest or moves with uniform speed initially remains so without any net external force in inertial reference frame
In non-inertial frames of reference, however, a particle that moves with constant velocity or is static initially goes on to develop acceleration gradually due to inherent acceleration of the frame of reference even without any external force.
Since a particle does not develop acceleration without external force in inertial frame therefore inertial frames of reference move with constant velocity relative to any other inertial frame.
Conclusion:
Thus, inertial frame of reference moves with constant velocity.

- A capacitor with a capacitance of C = 5.95×10−5 F is charged by connecting it to a 12.5 −V battery. The capacitor is then disconnected from the battery and connected across an inductor with an inductance of L = 1.55 H . At the time 2.35×10−2 s after the connection to the inductor is made, what is the current in the inductor? At that time, how much electrical energy is stored in the inductor?arrow_forwardCan someone help me with this question. Thanks.arrow_forwardCan someone help me with this question.
