Chapter 25, Problem 13PFN
Summary Introduction

The blood pressure is the potency of the pushing blood against arterial walls. When the heart left ventricle contracts, maximal blood pressure is utilized and move blood across the aortic valve into the aorta. The pressure that falls as the relaxation of the heart referred as diastole and the pressure increases as contraction of the ventricle is called as systole. This constant relaxation and contraction of the heart left ventricle produce a wave pressure that is transferred via the arterial system.
