Summary Introduction
To explain: The reason why the templating region of the RNA includes one and half of the telomeric sequences.
Introduction: The specialized sequences with repititive nucleotides found at the end of the chromosomes are called as telomeres. The telomeric region is replicated with specialized machinery using the enzyme telomerase. Telomere protects the DNA from degradation and other recombination events. Generally, telomeres consist of repetitive units of 5′-TTAGGG-3′.
