Summary Introduction

To summarize:

The main steps in the process of photosynthesis by which cyanobacteria produce oxygen and use carbon dioxide to make organic compounds.

Concept introduction:

Cyanobacteria contain the chloroplasts and plastids which synthesize the ATP by the process of photosynthesis. The steps include the emission of the electron from the chlorophyll molecule which gets transported in the electron transport chain. This causes the movement of the hydrogen from the thylakoid membrane to the stroma leading to the synthesis of ATP. The oxygen is formed by the splitting of the water molecule. The process of photosynthesis uses the molecule of carbon dioxide.
