Introduction: The gene transfer between the bacteria takes place through the process of transformation. The naked DNA molecule is transferred from one bacterium that is resistant to ampicillin to the bacterium that is sensitive to ampicillin. As there is no other aid like a conjugation tuber or a phage particle, the genetic material transfers directly and brings about the transformation of the bacteria
