Introduction:

A group of cells with similar function and shape and also function together is termed as Tissues. The functional groups of tissues forms organs.There are four types of tissues in animals: Connective, muscle, nervous, and epithelial.

Explanation of Solution

When a section from the bottom is transplanted, the new tissue grew at the tail end.This is because of the genes known as Hox genes which give the proteins in new places which can cause variation in animals. These variations results in the changes of numbers, location and expression time of the Hox genes during the period of tissue development.

Conclusion

Thus, the parts of an embryo along the head-tail axis of animals is specified by a group of genes that are related are termed as Hox genes.
