Summary Introduction

To review:

The functions of aminopeptidase, pancreatic amylase, deoxyribonuclease, and gastric lipase.

Introduction:

Aminopeptidase, pancreatic amylase, deoxyribonuclease, and gastric lipase are the enzymes that are required for the digestion of proteins, carbohydrates, nucleic acids, and fatty acids present in the chyme. The pancreas is an accessory organ, which secretes a number of digestive enzymes required for breakdown of the complex food molecules to smaller absorbable nutrients.
