Concept introduction: The cells that are present in the line of the internal surface of the blood vessels (arteries, veins, and the capillaries) and the lymphatic vessels are called as endothelial cells. Most of the cells have direct contact with the endothelial cells, as it supplies blood to all parts of the body. Other than blood supply, it has several functions.
