To describe: The interactions of actin, myosin, and the troponin–tropomyosin complex in controlling heart function.

Concept introduction: Muscles are the structural association that coordinates with bones to control the locomotion and enable movement in an organ. Muscle contraction is a process that highly depends on the presence of calcium. The process of muscle contraction is described by cross-bridge theory of muscle contraction. It is characterized by difference in the bands of the myocardial sarcomere for muscle contraction and relaxation.
