Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Dengue fever is caused by a virus called flaviviridae; this virus multiplies in platelets and white blood cells, the mosquitoes which act as vector are Aedes aegyti and Aedes albopicticus, symptoms are high fever around 105F (Fahrenheit), pain in joints and muscles, break bone fever, secondary infections leads to complications like Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in adults and Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS) sometimes leads to death if untreated. Infection was detected by immunological responses and serological assay whereas IgG, NSI; IgG and IgM are high at first day of infection considered as primary infection, further analysis shows IgM and NSI level low during secondary infection but IgG will remain high, this interpretation confirms secondary infection.
