Concept explainers
To explain: The way Person G theory of constraints differ from the current approaches to continuous improvement in organizations and also how it is similar.
Explanation of Solution
Person G theory of constraints follows a focused approached in improving a process while other approaches look at a larger systems approach to the process. It looks at areas in the process that are putting a constraint on the process or limiting the overall performance of the system.
The logic followed here is that spending time on the other areas of the system wastes certain resources which can be used more quickly so that will have an operational impact.
Person G theory of constraints is also similar to the current approaches as both these processes aim is to improve the processes through which they aim to improve the overall performance of a system.
