In the IR spectrum of 4-methylcyclohexene, the C-H out-of-plane bending vibrations needs to be determined

Concept Introduction:

The IR table explains IR spectroscopy frequency ranges, presence of the vibration and absorptions for functional groups. The major functional group present in the 4-methylcyclohexene is a double bond so one can look for characteristics' alkene peaks in the IR spectra.
