The difference between the primary and secondary immune response.

Concept introduction:

The primary response is the initial response of the antibodies to the antigens, which attack the body for the first time. The body develops its own memory cells for a further attack on the same antigen. If a particular type of antigen attacks the body for the first time, then it is handled by innate immunity (primary response) and if the same antigen encounters further, then the antigens are eliminated by adaptive immunity, which shows a secondary response.
