Introduction:

Soil is the uppermost layer of earth’s crust, which contains mineral as well as organic matter. A source is a photosynthetic part of the plant that produces sugar, and a sink is any plant part that receives the sugar. Plants lose water through transpiration. Pressure flow theory explains the phloem sap movement.
