Introduction:
In healthy breathing, a balance is maintained by the respiratory system between the intake of oxygen and output of carbon dioxide, which gets disturbed during hyperventilation. Hyperventilation is also called rapid or deep breathing. In this process, the person tends to breathe fasterthan the way one does during normal breathing. It is a process wherein the person exhales more air than the amount of air inhaled, that is, while hyperventilating, the exhalation process takes place at a rapid pace.
