Brittany Maynard was 29 years old. She found out she has terminal brain cancer known as an astrocytoma. Even though she went through surgery that did not work out and she had only 6 months to live. She decided to use death with dignity law and after so many hurdles she received her prescription for the lethal drug in June 2014. And on 1st November, her journey ended.
Introduction:
Death with Dignity laws is also called as physician-assisted dying and this stems from the prime aim that it is mainly for the patients who are terminally ill. Involvement of government and its interference, religious leaders and their dogma, and politicians and their ideology may make their end of life decisions and analyses the amount of pain suffering the individual should endure.
