Disadvantages:

• The major drawback of the grid layout is that both first and the second columns have in size that is same and it is because in a grid layout each and every cells gets the same size.
• It would be better if the first column was much narrower such that there would be more room for the sliders.
• However, it is not that much easier to achieve with the basic layouts.
