Introduction: Infant mortality rates are the rates by which the children under the age of five die because of several reasons. The death of infants is measured in terms of IMR. There may be various reasons for infant mortality, including neonatal infections, malaria, malnutrition, abnormal fetus umbilical cord, and pneumonia.
