Botulism is a rare and potentially fatal illness caused by a toxin produced by the bacterium clostridium botulinum. Botulism or botulism poisoning is a rare but very serious illness caused by a toxin. It occurs naturally and transmit through food, contact with contaminated soil or through an open wound.
