Introduction:
“Dinoflagellates” have a rough encrusted surface with grooves. They have two flagella on their surface. These organisms are bioluminescent and produce green-blue light. They produce red-tides in warm temperature conditions. Diatoms are phytoplankton’s that have a deposition of silica on their surface. They are used in the manufacturing of toothpaste and metal polishing. Chlorophytes are green algae, which have chloroplasts for the fixation of carbon-dioxide in the air.
