Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation: The environmental consequences of ozone in the stratosphere and troposphere are to be given.

Concept introduction:

Layers of atmosphere:

  • Troposphere
  • Stratosphere
  • Mesosphere
  • Thermosphere

Troposphere is atmosphere’s lowest part and it contain majority of water vapor and about 75% of all the air. Tropopause is the name for the top of troposphere.

Stratosphere is the atmospheric layer extending from tropopause to about 50km This part contain much ozone in the atmosphere. The ozone in this region absorbs u-v radiation and protects us from harmful health issues by u-v radiation.
