Concept introduction:

Photosynthesis is a reaction in which carbon dioxide and water combines together in the presence of sunlight to form glucose and oxygen. The photosynthetic process in which carbon is eliminated from ${\text{CO}}_{\text{2}}$, so that it can be used in biomelcules is known as ${\text{C}}_{\text{4}}$ pathway of carbon fixation.
