Introduction:
The sequence of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) that changes the position in the genome, and at times reverses or creates mutations, thus altering the genome size and genetic identity of the cell is known as a transposable element. 0The result of copying of the similar genetic material is transposition. It was discovered in 1983, by Barbara McClintock, for which she even won a noble prize.
