The two hormones which differ in the polypeptide chain of vasopressin and oxytocin are to be stated.

Concept introduction:

The organic compounds that contain amine $\left({\text{-NH}}_{\text{2}}\right)$ and carboxyl $\left(\text{-COOH}\right)$ functional groups with a side chain $\left(\text{-R}\right)$ are known as amino acids. Proteins are the biomolecules which are composed of the long chain of amino acid residues. They are formed by the peptide linkage between amino acids.
