Introduction:

Certain kinds of pathological conditions related to low level of oxygen are treated with administration of 100% (percent) oxygen at an increased pressure. This kind of therapeutic treatment is known as hyperbaric medicine. The patients are subjected to a hyperbaric chamber which helps in increasing the level of oxygen in the body tissues, but with some disadvantages.
