Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Carbohydrates are more soluble in nature; it has a general molecular formula (CH2O) n. It has more than 2 carbon atoms. All carbohydrates are not sugars. Based on the presence and number of carbon atoms, carbohydrates are classified as monosaccharides, disaccharides, and polysaccharides.
Polysaccharides are made of more than nine carbon atoms, for example glycogen and hyaluronic acid.
