Concept introduction:
A mixture is defined as a substance made by combination of two or more different materials in such a way that no chemical reaction occurs. A mixture can usually be separated back into its original components by various chemical or physical methods.
A pure substance has constant physical and chemical properties and cannot be separated by any physical or chemical methods it does not have varying composition.
