Introduction:
Collaboration is expected to occur in any area of one’s career and personal life. Collaboration helps a team to have an accumulated energy and expertise of a variety of fields to properly conduct a project or an activity. Collaborative writing is affected by the individual efforts of the team members of different cultures, habits, and expertise. A professional who is an expert in the technical field focusses on the accuracy and the standards, while editors involved in making sure the writing is consistent, and a manager specializes on managing the time of the project. Hence, the collaborative writing should be done in a way that the expertise of the individuals is optimized. To conduct a proper collaboration, one should consider a few crucial points. These are carefully choosing the collaborators who can have an open mind towards the group goals and who has a good level of expertise in various fields, giving for the members to get to know each other, specifying, individual responsibilities, establishing a clear procedure, avoid composing as a group to avoid different styles of writing, etc.
