To convert a quantity au1 from one unit to another, that is, u1u2, first write a conversion factor, u2u1, then multiply the conversion factor with the given quantity au1 and cancel the units to get the quantity in the desired unit.

au1×u2u1=au2

The expression for density (d) is as follows:

d=mV

Here, d is density, m is the mass and V is the volume.
