Relational model:

The process of organizing data into collection of two-dimensional tables is called as Relational model.

• In a relational database model, the data items and their relationships are linked together in the form of tables.
• Each row represents one entity instance and each column represents one attribute of the entity.
• The values stored in the columns are of the same data type.

Key-value model:

• In key-value model, each row represents one attribute of one entity instance.
• The “key” column could represent any entity’s attribute.
