Introduction:

Managers need sufficient information upon which they could make solid decisions. However, having too much information with regard to a particular decision would leave the manager with ambiguity. Likewise, in baseball, which is the game that could be used as a synonym for numbers, players are left with a great amount of information that is critical not only for the result of the game at hand but also the player’s entire sports career. Hence, it is important that players maintain great focus from beginning to end.
