Explanation of Solution

Ethics is treated as a major branch of philosophy it deals with right or wrong (good or bad) behaviour. Law is nothing but a code of conduct prescribed by highest authority in a state and deals with what is right and what is wrong.

Differences between law and ethics:

Law is powerfully affected by law, but morals and law are not one and the same. Legality is regularly a reliable guide to the ethical (moral) behaviour, but this cannot be relied upon a perfect standard. In case of ethics the actions and behaviours of an individual may be judged based on right or wrong.
