Hematocrit is the measure of the volume percentage of the red blood cells; it is calculated as a product of mean cell volume and the number of red blood cells. The packed red blood cell volume is the measure of the red blood cell component of the blood.

Several sites were then infiltrated with 1% Xylocaine solution with Epinephrine to help control bleeding from stab wounds to be made at these sites.
