Summary Introduction

To explain: Whether the term gene pool applies to individual, population or both.

Introduction: A gene can be referred as a unit of hereditary. They pass information from one generation to another. The genes contain deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) which decides the genotype of an individual. The genotype along with geographical conditions determines the phenotype of an individual. The phenotype can be described as the physical appearance of an individual.
