Summary Introduction

To determine:

Whether chimpanzees should be classified in the same family and subfamily as humans or an individual would prefer the classification used formerly also which way is prejudicial and also explain reason for preferring one method over the other.

Introduction:

The classification hierarchy that is used by today’s taxonomists was created by the father of modern taxonomy Carolus Linnaeus. It was developed as a way so that the biodiversity can be organized. A taxon is the “general name for a group of organisms that possess a set of shared traits”.
