Introduction:
The connective tissue is essential for our bodies to function properly. Bone connective tissue provides structure and support, similarly, fat connective tissue insulates and provides energy and other types with different functions. One of the important integral types of connective tissue is the cartilage. Cartilage is composed of chondrocytes and fibers embedded in a firm, gel-like matrix. It is much more elastic than bone. It is distributed in many areas in the bodies including the joints between bones, the rib cage, the ear, the nose, the bronchial tubes and the intervertebral discs.
