Introduction:

Hardy-Weinberg principle deals with gene frequency change in the random mating population. According to Hardy- Weinberg principle, the genotype frequencies remain in the proportion p² (AA), 2pq (Aa), and q² (aa). Hardy-Weinberg equation for allele frequency is p+q = 1 and for genotype frequency is p²+2pq+q² = 1.
