Reasons for infertility in males:

  • Change in size, structure, and shape of sperm and semen.
  • Abnormalities in the production of male hormones such as testosterone.

Reasons for infertility in females:

  • Altered hypothalamus leads to hormonal imbalances.
  • Improper functioning of hypothalamus or anterior pituitary.
  • Malfunctions in ovaries.
  • Abnormalities or obstruction in fallopian tube.
  • Change in the pH of vagina.
  • Smoking.
