Interpretation:

“Fission energy and its benefits” should be identified.

Conceptual Introduction:

Nuclear fission: is a process in which a heavy nucleus after capturing a neutron divide itself into two lighter nuclei of comparable mass.

Nuclear Fusion: is a process in which two or more nuclei moving at very high speed are fused together to form a single nucleus.

Solutions:

a) As for fusion produces large amount of energy by using smaller atoms and do not produce any toxic by-products.
b) Because fusion require large amount of energy to start the reaction.

To Determine:

a) Benefits of using fusion over fission as source of nuclear energy.
b) Determine the reason of fusion reactor that has not been developed yet.
