Introduction:
The lacrimal fluid is known as tears and is secreted by the lacrimal glands to keep the surface of the eyeball moist. The lacrimal fluid also contains lysozymes along with lipids, lacritin, glucose, sodium, and potassium. The presence of lysozyme also provides the lacrimal fluid with the property of immunity.
