Introduction: An antiviral drug, Oseltamivir (Tamiflu), is recommended for patients infected by the influenza virus. Influenza virus is an RNA virus belonging to the family of Orthomyxoviridae. This virus produces flu with symptoms such as fever, sore throat, and coughing. Oseltamivir is a drug that inhibits the enzyme neuraminidase.
