To explain thatwhen plants are exposed to the combination of light of wavelength 680 nm and 700 nm producemore oxygen than the plant exposed to the light of either one of the wavelengths.

Plants absorbs light in the range of wavelength 400-700 nm.The most abundant pigment found in plantsis Chlorophyll a. The light reaction referred to the photochemical phase, includes absorption of light, the release of oxygen, water splitting and formation of high energy chemical intermediates ATP and NADPH.
