In human body, there is a liquid connective tissue which is associated with the transportation of various dissolved materials and gases in the human body. Different types of blood cells exist which include red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The erythrocytes or red blood cells are mainly involved in the transport of oxygen whereas, the leukocytes engage in immune functions.
