Cost of Goods Manufactured:

Cost of goods manufactured is computed by ascertaining the current cost of manufacturing which includes the raw material consumed, direct labour cost and other indirect manufacturing overheads. The current manufacturing cost is then added to beginning inventory off work in process to determine the cost of goods in manufacturing and from it the ending inventory of goods still in transit shall be deducted to ascertain the cost of goods manufactured.
