Leukocytes are the blood cells that are responsible for providing immunity to the human body. These cells are divided into five categories, namely lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, and neutrophils. Lymphocytes are derived from lymphoid stem cells while other are derived from myeloid stem cells.
