The “binary_search()” function:

The “binary_search()” function is used to search a particular value in the range of elements that are arranged in ascending order.

  • The function returns “true” if the element is found in the range [first, last].
  • Comparison is done using the operator “<”.
  • The basic criteria here is the range of values should be sorted before it has to be searched.

The general syntax for the sort function is:

binary_search(iterator_1 , iterator_2,searching_value)

  • The “iterator_1” iterator is used to point the first element in the range.
  • The “iterator_2” iterator is used to point the end of the range.
  • The “searching_value” is a value which is to be searched in the elements. If the value exists in the range, then this function will return “true”, else it will return “false”...
